Rain at the Lake is an abstracted landscape artwork in shades of seductive purples.
Inspiration for much of my art comes from memories of time, place and color. This one was born from a miserable weekend getaway.
Just as I sat thinking the only thing I would see before work on Monday, besides the 4 walls of the cabin, was pouring rain and gray skies the clouds parted and an orange sun showed itself at sunset turning everything a beautiful purple color.
